Scan Mode

When Scan Mode is engaged for the radio's current channel, the radio checks the channel's assigned Scan List for qualified transmissions; each Scan List Member is checked (one at a time) for qualified transmissions. Therefore, while operating in Scan Mode, a channel's Scan List allows for many possible receive channels on a single radio channel. The Scan Type field determines the specific mode of operation for each Scan List. Scan mode is possible for both Conventional or Trunking communications.
